Welcome to Westside Baptist Church in Prattville, Alabama. Our aim and purpose in having a web page is that you will find information about the church as well as the excitement of our members.
We know that through the advancement of technology we must periodically change the method of how we reach people. However, one thing that will never change is the message. (Method - Yes, Message - No).
Our goal here at Westside is not to proselyte, steal, manipulate members of other churches to come join us, we want to preach and teach the truth of the word of God and supply a church home for those who are searching.
It's important to remember that Westside is made up of people who have trusted Jesus Christ as their savior. However, they still make mistakes, they still have problems, and from time to time have hurt and pain in their life. Sound familiar? Well that's because Jesus said in John 16:33 "ye shall have tribulation" speaking of the world we live in. He (Jesus) also said in the same verse "be of good cheer" because of "Him we can have peace".
You see it's not about us and the present world it's about glorifying the Lord and the other side of eternity.
